Job Description: C3PED Unified Communications Suite (UCS) and Audio Video (AV) Project Manager / Task Lead Responsible for managing technical requirements and supervising UCS and AV engineers/technicians geographically separated across the enterprise. Serves as the primary point of contact to 480th ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance) Wing leadership, sponsors, customers, and internal business unit departments to ensure projects meet customer requirements and are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with required quality standards. Leads AV projects through the design, procurement, fabrication, integration, testing, and evaluation of AV systems. Coordinates project schedules, resources, risk management, and technical execution to support mission requirements and operational objectives. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Facilitate project initiation, estimating, planning, requirements gathering, analysis and design, technical reviews, system integration, implementation, operational turnover, and project closeout activities.
Supervise onsite UCS administrators and AV senior technicians across multiple global locations, ensuring consistent execution of technical operations, compliance with standards, and alignment with mission requirements.
Lead cross-functional project teams, including engineering, installation, Information Assurance (IA), finance, and contracts personnel, to ensure effective coordination and successful project execution.
Develop and manage project documentation, including Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Statements of Work (SOW), Cost Estimate Packages (CEP), project schedules (POA&M), and risk registers.
Manage resource forecasting and ensure projects are executed within approved budget and schedule constraints.
Interface with customers, sponsors, and end users to provide project status updates and obtain feedback regarding project performance and requirements.
Ensure projects comply with applicable safety, export control, cybersecurity, and security standards.
Support customers and sponsors with AV-related installation projects, including coordination, implementation, integration, and project execution activities.
Maintain and manage the site SharePoint environment to support document control, collaboration, and project tracking, ensuring information is accurate, organized, and accessible to authorized users.
Monitor project commitments, ensure development and approval of planning documentation, review technical requirements, and determine appropriate resource allocations.
Track and escalate action items, monitor project delivery and customer satisfaction, and communicate project status to all appropriate levels of internal and external management.
Perform data collection; develop presentations and reports; administer project databases; conduct project assessments; and create and maintain templates, forms, and standardized processes.
Manage Information Assurance (IA) site system-level accreditation activities in coordination with the Designated Accrediting Authority (DAA).
Provide monthly status reports and project updates to the customer, including schedule, budget, risk, and performance metrics.
Facilitate, track, and monitor AV Operations and Maintenance (O&M) hardware to sustain site operations and ensure system availability and readiness.
Provide required documentation to support site installation requirements, including Authorization to Operate (ATO) packages and Network Security Requests (NSRs).
Required Qualifications:
Candidate must possess an active Top Secret security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility.
Minimum of six (6) years of project management experience required; ten (10) years preferred.
Demonstrated positive work ethic with strong organizational, planning, and leadership skills, and the ability to perform detail-oriented work.
Ability to work effectively within a flexible team environment and maintain excellent interpersonal skills with all levels of project support staff, customers, and stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, and establish and maintain strong customer-focused working relationships.
Working knowledge of AV system functionality, integration, and installation processes.
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project.
Desired Qualification:
Familiarity with military and Department of Defense (DoD) customer organizations and operational environments.
Familiarity with U.S. Air Force communications systems, networks, and architectures.
Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Visio and SharePoint/IntelShare.
Knowledge of Audio Visual (AV) and Video Teleconferencing (VTC) equipment, technologies, and manufacturers, including Crestron, Extron, Biamp, and Cisco.
Experience managing technical projects within a complex operational or enterprise environment.
BS Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems Management and 4 years applicable experience OR 6+ years of experience
