Salary Range: $130,000 to $150,000
Job Description:
Provide support to NAVWAR with the development of tactical and strategic acquisition tasks for programs and projects throughout all phases of the acquisition lifecycle.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Advise on acquisition policies, regulations and statutes and assist PMO
programs and projects with complying with all Federal, DoD, DoN, NAVWAR,
and PEO C4l requirements
- Advise on acquisition approaches (i.e., ACAT/project, Abbreviated
Acquisition Program, Middle Tier Acquisition; Agile Acquisition) to assist PMO
programs and projects develop acquisition strategies
- Prepare briefings and strategy recommendations for acquisition decision
authorities (e.g., Milestone Decision Authority (MDA))
- Prepare Joint Capabilities Integration and Development Systems (JCIDS)
documentation including, but not limited to capabilities documents (CBAs, ICDs,
CDDs, and CPDs), acquisition plans and strategies and other required milestone
documents listed in DoDI 5000.02
authorities and sponsors
- Coordinate Program Management Reviews for PMO Programs and projects
to include briefing template development, scheduling, and briefing book
preparation
Required Qualifications
- At least 10 years of recent and relevant professional experience performing the duties and responsibilities listed above
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office software
Desired Qualifications
- DAWIA Level II or III in program management or similar (e.g., PMP)
Education Requirements:
- Master’s Degree or four additional years’ relevant experience
