Cybersecurity Tools Administrator - Tenable (Tier II)

Job Description:
Assist in the management and administration of Cybersecurity related tools leveraged by M26/Intelligence Enterprise Management Office ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems, networks, and data supporting the planning, analysis, development, implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of information systems security programs, Network/Hardware/Software compliance and authorization, Information Security Policies and procedures, and network security tools.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Candidate will work as part of a Cybersecurity team focused on continuous monitoring, cybersecurity tools, incident management, and assessment and authorization and will work with other Tenable SC/Nessus engineers to maintain and execute scanning requirements and reporting as per government requirements.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years’ recent experience administering, maintaining and executing a corporate or enterprise Vulnerability Management environment
- Certified in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 8 or higher
- Building and running scans from Tenable SC and Nessus Manager
- Generating and providing reports and dashboards.
- Meet 8570.01-M requirements to include recent certification or training in Tenable SC or Nessus Manager.
Desired Qualifications:
- 7 years of experience in Cybersecurity Tools with additional experience in Incident Management, Splunk/SOAR, or HBSS/ESS/Trellix preferred.

- TS/SCI with eligibility for CAP/SAP/STO access.
Physical, Work Environment & Conditions: (please update):
- Must be able to sit or stand at a workstation for extended periods.
- Occasional standing while working in server rooms or at patch panels.
- Must be able to lift and move moderately heavy equipment (e.g., routers, switches, servers) typically up to 30–50 pounds.
- Manual Dexterity required for connecting cables, configuring devices, and handling small tools or components.
- Must be able to view computer screens for long periods.
- Ability to distinguish color-coded cabling and indicator lights.
- Must be able to climb ladders or crawl in tight spaces for cable runs or equipment installation.
- May require walking between different buildings or workstations.
- Must be able to communicate clearly with technical teams and end-users.
- May need to hear alarms, server beeps, or equipment noises indicating issues
