Job Description:
The Counterintelligence/HUMINT Analyst provides direct CI support to HUMINT analyses and operations at the United States Marine Forces Special Operations Command (MARSOC). The CI/HUMINT Analyst integrates CI capabilities into the training, planning, and execution of sensitive activities in support of MARSOC. The CI/HUMINT Analyst will provide accurate, relevant, and timely analyses and assessments on threats to MARSOC. The CI/HUMINT Analyst identifies counterintelligence gaps and collection requirements to fill gaps and evaluate intelligence collected in response to requirements. Draft Intelligence Information Reports (IIRs) and provides quality control/quality assurance. Provide data-driven, quantitative, and qualitative intelligence products that enable decision-making while driving operational planning efforts. Conduct research, analysis, and create products/reports from multiple intelligence and operational sources to provide situational awareness and risk informing for MARSOC.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Support the execution of CI risk assessment/validation panels when asked
  • Analyze multi-domain intelligence to provide risk assessments
  • Conducts all-source research, analysis, and target development through various reporting, processes, and databases
  • Leverage and deliver the tools, expert analysis, and tradecraft required to provide timely, relevant, actionable, and understandable intelligence and planning material to inform decision-makers and influence outcomes
  • Develop detailed threat analysis and assessments against a range of national and global threats to identify risks, gaps, and vulnerabilities and recommend countermeasures
     
Required Qualifications
  • Four+ years' experience in CI/HUMINT analysis
  • Two+ years' experience in CI/HUMINT collection management
  • Advanced understanding of CI and HUMINT operations to assist in the development and implementation of CI and HUMINT collection, HUMINT Lead generation and development strategies, HUMINT management, collection, planning, and exploitation.
  • Experience in the HUMINT Operations Cycle, CI support to HUMINT Operations, Asset Risk Assessment System (ARMS), Operational Risk Management Process and Pattern of Life Analysis.
  • Familiarity with CI/HUMINT Characterization processes
  • Experience in targeting and human network analysis
  • Strong analytical and data management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Education Requirements: 
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Security Clearance Requirements: 
  • TS/SCI
