Job Description:

The Project Analyst will perform critical program management and engineering analysis for projects under the IC2IS division and provides recommendations to ensure program success. Provides program analysis support for all aspects of the program. Will support the development and execution of program documentation and processes. He/she should have proficient skills higher level program management, and a strong understanding of electronic, mechanical, communications, plumbing, and HVAC disciplines, project programming, project management, secure communications networks, mission equipment support requirements, cost estimation, DoD acquisition programs, systems, and processes, facilities management, Intelligence Support working groups, operations engineering, energy resilience, space utilization, real property, and environmental compliance. The candidate must be organized and quick to respond to actions/data calls.  Daily interactions will be with direct supervisor, client, and other members of the project team. 


Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
 
  • Support Task Lead on day to day technical management of the task
  • Responsible for acquisition/material management in relationship to design efforts
  • Coordinates and leads action item tracking meetings
  • Review all designs and provide technical insight
  • Develop the technical rollup from meetings in support of the client to the sponsor
  • Travels to site as requred to support key personnel

Required Qualifications:
 
  • Ability to assist customers in developing accurate descriptions of work-requirements, statements of work, or performance work statements related to the renovation of present/future projects for upgrading the data center.
  • Utilize vast knowledge of civil engineering and ICD 705 principles to provide technical assistance; plan maintenance and repair; control and coordinate maintenance and construction activities to ensure on-site safety and health of buildings, occupants, and equipment.
  • Ability to work within a flexible team environment with excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to deal with all levels of project support staff and stakeholders.   
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written, as well as establish and maintain a strong customer focused working relationship.

Desired Qualification:
  • Familiarity of the mode of operation of the DOD Datacenter Infrastructure
  • Familiarity of ICD 705
  • Familiarity with Sharepoint/Intelshare


Education Requirements: 
 
  • BS/MS Degree Civil Engineering and 7+ years applicable experience

  • Typical office environment:
  • Must be able to sit or stand at a workstation for extended periods.
  • Occasional standing while working in server rooms or at patch panels.
  • Must be able to lift and move moderately heavy equipment (e.g., routers, switches, servers) typically up to 30–50 pounds.
  • Manual Dexterity required for connecting cables, configuring devices, and handling small tools or components.
  • Must be able to view computer screens for long periods.
  • Ability to distinguish color-coded cabling and indicator lights.
  • Must be able to climb ladders or crawl in tight spaces for cable runs or equipment installation.
  • May require walking between different buildings or workstations.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly with technical teams and end-users.
  • May need to hear alarms, server beeps, or equipment noises indicating issues
