Job Description: The Project Manager will oversee and coordinate multiple projects supporting the Office of Naval Intelligence under the FGS tasking framework. These projects include physical security enhancements, IT and cybersecurity initiatives, and facility-related improvements. The ideal candidate will have experience managing complex projects within the Department of Defense (DoD), Department of the Navy (DoN), or Intelligence Community (IC), and will be proficient in project management methodologies and tools such as Microsoft Project.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan, execute, and monitor projects related to physical security, IT/cybersecurity, and facility upgrades.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations using MS Project and other PM tools.
Coordinate with stakeholders across ONI, NMIC, and FGS to ensure alignment with mission objectives.
Prepare and deliver project status reports, risk assessments, and performance metrics to leadership.
Ensure compliance with DoD, DoN, and IC policies, security standards, and contractual requirements.
Manage vendor relationships and oversee procurement activities for project-related materials and services.
Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
Support audits, inspections, and security reviews as required.
Required Qualifications:
3–5 years of project management experience, preferably in DoD, DoN, or IC environments.
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, SharePoint, Excel).
Strong understanding of project management principles (PMBOK or similar).
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Engineering, IT, or related field.
PMP, CAPM, or equivalent project management certification.
Experience with physical security systems, IT infrastructure, and cybersecurity projects.
Familiarity with DoD acquisition processes and contracting requirements.
Knowledge of facility management and construction project workflows.
Experience working in classified environments and adhering to security protocols.
Must be able to sit or stand at a workstation for extended periods.
Occasional standing while working in server rooms or at patch panels.
Must be able to lift and move moderately heavy equipment (e.g., routers, switches, servers) typically up to 30–50 pounds.
Manual Dexterity required for connecting cables, configuring devices, and handling small tools or components.
Must be able to view computer screens for long periods.
Ability to distinguish color-coded cabling and indicator lights.
May require walking between different buildings or workstations.
Must be able to communicate clearly with technical teams and end-users.
May need to hear alarms, server beeps, or equipment noises indicating issues
