Job Description:
The Operations Officer (OPSO) is responsible for supporting two GG-15s and the O-6 Colonel in managing their day to day operations in the Operations Support Strategy Branch, Deputy Commandant for Information (DC I), Information Intelligence Division (IID). The OPSO will be responsible for calendar management and deconfliction, as well as working closing with the Joint Matters Section to ensure that the branch meets the requirements of the Division.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Act as an internal coordinator and task manager for the branch
Acting as an advisor to the Branch leadership, the OPSO will keep leadership informed of potential calendar conflicts, late assignments, or leadership requirements for pending requirements
Required Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI clearance; eligible for CAP/SAP/STO access
Bachelor's level or higher degree from an accredited institution
4-10 years of USMC Intelligence or Capabilities Development experience; 20 years preferred
Expert in Microsoft Office tools, experience writer
Use of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) style of task tracking through Microsoft O365, Confluence/JIRA, or similar application
Strong interpersonal skills and organizational skills
General understanding of executive support requirements
Must work within broad guidelines and policies and subsequently explain complex, difficult and/or sensitive information to wide audience with wide-ranging levels of experience from none to expert
Must be good at working within a team to achieve a common end and working with often vague tasking environment
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's level or higher degree from an accredited institution

Requires Sitting (66%), Standing (15%), Walking (15%), Near Acuity (100%), Speaking (100%), Listening (100%), Sight (100%), Use of fingers and hands (100%), Travel 5% CONUS.
