Position Description: FGS, LLC is seeking an experienced Integrator/Developer with strong expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and virtualization technologies to support the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI). The candidate will integrate, test, and sustain Government developed software for a unique mission environment, ensuring mission-critical operations remain secure and operational. This role requires a blend of Linux administration, patch integration, software development, scripting, and virtualization management.
Responsibilities:
Develop CLEAR patches from custom source code in the local Dev LAN Git Repository and 3rd-party open-source applications.
Test CLEAR installations from scratch and validate patch applications on existing CLEAR servers.
Create and modify shell and Perl scripts to automate administrative and integration tasks.
Administer and maintain a Development Environment, including account management, PKI, logs, VMware vSphere environments, and hypervisors.
Expand storage capacity for Development Environment file servers and ensure timely patching of infrastructure components.
Collaborate with security, development, and operations teams to ensure compliance with DoD standards and mission requirements.
Maintain system documentation, configuration baselines, and change management records.
Required Qualifications:
Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
5+ years of experience in Linux system administration (RHEL 8 required, RHEL 9 preferred).
Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere and virtualization platforms.
Familiarity with Git and software compilation tools (Make, GCC, Java).
Proficiency in shell scripting and basic Perl scripting.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex system integration issues.
DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with integration and sustainment of mission-critical DoD/IC systems.
Prior exposure to CLEAR or cross-domain solutions.
Knowledge of RMF, STIG compliance, and secure configuration standards.
Familiarity with DevOps pipelines, CI/CD, and automated build/test environments.

Travel: Up to 10% local CONUS travel
Environmental Exposure: Minimal (standard office environment 99% of time)
