Job Description:
The Infrastructure & Endpoint Systems Administrator will provide mission-critical support to the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) by managing and maintaining core IT infrastructure, storage, and endpoint management systems. This role will focus on ensuring the availability, performance, security, and lifecycle management of enterprise endpoints, storage platforms, and endpoint security tools. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience administering systems such as NetApp storage, SCCM, and endpoint protection platforms such as Trellix (formerly McAfee).
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Administer and maintain SCCM infrastructure for software deployment, patch management, compliance monitoring, and asset inventory.
  • Manage NetApp storage systems, including provisioning storage, monitoring health, performance tuning, and supporting data backups and recovery.
  • Deploy and manage endpoint protection solutions using Trellix (McAfee), including ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO), and enforce endpoint security policies.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity personnel to ensure systems are compliant with DoD security policies and standards.
  • Perform system updates, configuration management, and troubleshooting for endpoints and infrastructure.
  • Document system configurations, SOPs, change logs, and contribute to ATO packages as needed.
  • Provide Tier II/III support and remediation for infrastructure or endpoint-related issues.
  • Monitor system health, logs, and alerts to proactively address performance or security issues.
Required Qualifications:
  • DoD 8140.03-M (Formerly DoD 8570) Information Assurance Technical Level II (IAT-II) certification (CompTIA Security+, CySA+, GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC), etc.)
  • 5+ years of experience in systems administration with a focus on SCCM, enterprise storage (NetApp preferred), and endpoint security platforms.
  • Proven ability to manage Microsoft infrastructure and Windows endpoints in a secure environment.
  • Working knowledge of storage area networks, backup systems, and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Experience with endpoint security administration including antivirus, EDR, and device control.
  • Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity policies and compliance standards (e.g., STIGs, RMF).
  • TS/SCI clearance.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate or equivalent.
  • NetApp Certified Data Administrator (NCDA).
  • Trellix/McAfee product certifications.
  • Experience with PowerShell or other scripting tools to automate tasks.
  • Previous experience supporting Department of Defense or Intelligence Community clients.
Education Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.

  • Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance at time of application.
