Job Description:

Provide contract management services to NAVWAR to assist with the development of
contract strategy, planning, and administration.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities 

• Assist in the development of contracting strategies for development and

production contracts not related to this task order

•  Assist in generating, reviewing and supporting the preparation of contract documentation. Contract documentation includes Procurement Requests (PR), Modification Requests (MR), Requests for Proposal (RFP), and additional documentation as required
• Prepare DD-1423 forms and determine appropriate Data Item Descriptions for each deliverable.
• Assist in the tracking, distributing, and maintaining program and project contract data requirement lists (CDRLs)
• Assist in tracking DoD, Navy, Naval System Management Activity (NSMA), NAVWAR, and PEO C4I Contract Policy Updates and assist in ensuring that all contracts adhere to current policies
• Assist in tracking contract actions and schedules and provide a weekly status report for

all contracts

• Incorporate Sensitive Activities Intelligence Related Contracting (SAIRC)

and other relevant guidance for development of procurement initiation
documentation (PIO), purchase request (PR), and funding documents (FD),
required by the PCO

• Develop and maintain a tracking database of the status of all planned and

ongoing procurement activities
Required Qualifications

• At least 3 years of recent experience managing contracts for Navy or other DoD organizations
• Proficient knowledge of MS Office software

Education Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s Degree or six additional years’ relevant experience or Associate’s Degree and four additional years’ relevant experience
