Job Description:
Provide general system administration for UNICORN and other servers running Microsoft Windows and UNIX based operating systems, for the 10th Intelligence Squadron, Langley AFB, VA.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide system administration services for UNICORN servers
- Perform Core Service system administration for Langley AFB including, but not limited to, network storage, print services, back-up services as well as maintaining security groups, systems and user accounts in active directory (AD)
- Provide Tier-3 support and troubleshooting for client system issues. Remotely manage, administer and maintain Virtualization Server Suite (VSS) at all five DGS Sites
- Update and patch Operating Systems and software on servers to maintain STIG and SCAP security compliance
- Provide technical solution, security documentation and implementation plan for newly acquired systems. Coordinate/Complete CPU System Required Documents (CSRDs) and Problem Reports (PRs)
Required Qualifications
- DoD 8570 certified, IAT II
- One year of UNIX experience
- Three years of experience administering/maintaining Microsoft Windows Server, VMware versions 5.x/6.x
- One year experience in at least one of the following: MS SQL Server 2012/2014, Microsoft IIS 7.x/8.x
