Job Description:
The PAI Analyst will use PAI to provide expert knowledge on the People’s Republic of China (PRC) with emphasis on the People’s Liberation Army (PLA).  The PAI Analyst will provide current PRC and PLA atmospherics to inform broad, impactful projects and missions. 
 
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:  

• The PAI Analyst will create products to help inform on PRC and PLA atmospherics
• Produce detailed analysis of Publicly Available Information in both English and Chinese Mandarin

Required Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI clearance; eligible for CAP/SAP/STO access
• Documented knowledge of the PRC
• Fluent in Chinese Mandarin, with a minimum documented proficiency 3 Reading/3 Listening on the ILR on approved test such as DLPT, FSI exam, ACTFL or equivalent
• Have the ability to work with military staff
• Have good critical thinking and writing skills and the ability to work with multidisciplinary teams to develop well informed products

Education Requirements:

• BS/BA in a relevant field or five years of progressively more experience in the field of PRC studies may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree

Requires Sitting (66%), Standing (15%), Walking (15%), Near Acuity (100%), Speaking (100%), Listening (100%), Sight (100%), Use of fingers and hands (100%), Travel 5% CONUS.
